WeWriWa: Chemistry Lesson

It’s been a long time since I took chemistry, but I didn’t have to memorize the Periodic Table to understand how it works when it comes to characters. Likes attract. And the pull is inescapable.

Getting ready to welcome the re-release of the second book in my “Touched by Midnight” vampire romance series, MIDNIGHT TEMPTATION that became more apparent when opposites of class and even species seem so impossible to overcome but the pull between my hero and heroine will not be denied. Likes attract . . .
“For all their grand ideals, they are sheep in a city of wolves and I would not like to see them sheered.”

“So you, m’sieur, are a wolf who guards sheep. A thankless occupation for a wolf, I would think.”

He crooked a smile in her direction, murmuring, “Perhaps.”

“And are you planning to take me into your flock?”

She’d meant it to be amusing, but his stare was somber and quite complex. “I don’t think you are a sheep, mademoiselle. I am not sure what you are. Perhaps a wolf dressed in white fleece. A wolf like me.”
Though I don’t have an exact release date other than this month sometime, and even though I’ve seen my new gorgeous cover, I can’t reveal it yet, I can (and will!) do a little more teasing.

Hope this week has everyone at the keyboard in a creative frenzy!
