WeWriWa: Woo Hoo! It’s PRINCE OF DREAMS Pre-Order Time!

Sorry to be MIA last week but I was sooooo busy paddling under the surface to get ready for today’s post and ANNOUNCEMENT! PRINCE OF DREAMS, the final book in my “House of Terriot” dark shapeshifter series is available for pre-order on Amazon (and soon other venues!)!! It seems like this moment was forever in the making but now, it’s finally here!

And speaking of things under the surface, today’s excerpt from PoD is a moment of truth for my hero and heroine, a time for answers to those sticky questions . . . and hers is a doozy!

“Are you a mobster?”

With a booming laugh that trickled down to a lopsided smile, Kip asked, “Is that what you think, a mobster befriending the daughter of a police commissioner?” At Ophelia’s blink of surprise, he scoffed, “It’s not like no one in New Orleans knows you.”

Not rising to her own defense, she got back to her original question, arguing, “It would explain the money, the flash, the disappearances, the secrecy.”

“Yeah, it would, but it doesn’t. We’ve got money, lots of it that my brothers earn in Reno and Las Vegas through our casinos and hotels. We earn it honestly, and I invest it for them, all above board.”

“Then why hasn’t anyone ever heard of you?” Okay, she’d done some subtle checking. Nada.

Can’t wait for next week to see what he has the say to that!

In the meantime, here’s a look at the full package, blurb, and buy link for my upcoming release, PRINCE OF DREAMS . . .

IT WAS WRITTEN IN THE CARDS . . .

Kip . . . Prince in the shapeshifter House of Terriot

He'd said he wasn't a mobster. . . She should have asked if he was a monster.
Who was this too good to be true, always ready in a crisis guy working a menial job for her father? Ophelia knew things. Something was not quite normal about the Kip Terriot hiding behind another name in lace-up dress shoes and a preppy wardrobe – something wild and exciting as all hell. A dangerous something calling to that restless difference in her own soul.

Ophelia . . . daughter of his enemy, girl of his dreams

So sassy, so sweet so perfect . . . and what he had to do would destroy her.

Kip was in New Orleans to save his clan and his kind, not to play white knight for Ophelia Brady with her quirky habits, curvy body and tormented past. His deception would rip the heart from her world, not help heal it. Was his family’s nemesis using his own daughter to make Kip the played instead of the player, pulling him between love and duty to make an impossible choice?

“Emotionally captivating! A brilliant conclusion to a unique series!” – Book Bling

PoD and I are participating in a Haunted Halloween Spooktacular tour from Sept. 17 to Oct. 31. If you’re interested in hosting a stop, following the link to sign up. I promise to be a fascinating guest!

September has wrought some great or scary stuff. The law office I adore working for is closing its doors at the end of the month. My boss will either retire or take a fabulous job. That leaves me either unemployed or going with him on an exciting new venture – with full benefits! Cross you fingers for me. It’s going to be a suspenseful few weeks . . .

Inhaling! Exhaling . . . off to visit your snippets to keep my mind off things in the best possible way. Happy fall, y’all!

  11. She does have a point. People like to flock to money and power. Secrecy takes a lot of effort.
