When I realized that family and some of the characters descended from my earlier Arizona historicals, I added a timeline. I started doing timelines when I was taking the books through too many years and lost track of the ages or where they were born. I think a contemporary (which this one will be) should be easier... ;)Rain Trueaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07994628226501093880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7812763750431392902.post-92152446919510941632016-04-07T05:22:34.877-04:002016-04-07T05:22:34.877-04:00I've got to start using dropbox!I've got to start using dropbox!Nancy Gideonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07493107610530282642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7812763750431392902.post-51123822913723062292016-04-07T05:22:03.757-04:002016-04-07T05:22:03.757-04:00I guess it helps to be a Gemini, too!I guess it helps to be a Gemini, too!Nancy Gideonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07493107610530282642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7812763750431392902.post-1476267040391521062016-04-07T05:21:32.395-04:002016-04-07T05:21:32.395-04:00LOL! If I think of a scene that just stays with me for a little bit, I write down either as much detail of the scene I see in my head, or actually write it. I know I will forget by the time I need those ideas. I have a lot of folders with ideas waiting for me to use them, most of which I have forgotten. Without looking, I don't know what is there, but when I do look, I'll have quite a lot of ideas to choose from.Chris Voteyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08579228083734409344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7812763750431392902.post-41708396300123207682016-04-07T00:15:06.692-04:002016-04-07T00:15:06.692-04:00I would not even blink if you said you opened a sp...I would not even blink if you said you opened a split screen and wrote them simultaneously. Post it notes is the way to go. Better a jumbled up manuscript than nothing at all. I have never written a series knowing I was going to and I thought this would be a far better start, figure out the characters, plots, etc. before I started first book- less glitches, right. Except it's proving depressing and very stressful to be thinking of five different plots at the same time. Your idea might lessen that. I am going to try it.Rain Trueaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07994628226501093880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7812763750431392902.post-35397125492799654362016-04-06T09:38:08.724-04:002016-04-06T09:38:08.724-04:00I do exactly that.
