I’m thrilled to announce the September 23, 2011 release of Getting It Out There: PR and Social Media for Writers. It’s a unique concept from Wise Words Publishing, Tell-Tale Publishing’s non-fiction affiliate coming out in a digital serialized format, a chapter a month, for eighteen installments before being updated and compiled for release in hard cover.

I’ll be presenting a step-by-step guide in areas of budgeting time and money, establishing a web presence, social media, book trailers, paper promotional items and SWAG, public appearances, networking on conference and organizational levels, and more. Each topic will include a “What’s in it for Me?” section, industry examples, a concise summary, and places to go for further information. As an added bonus, I’m offering extra content on the Wise Words website detailing my personal experience with the monthly topic, along with interactive quizzes and contests, and a password-protected Bulletin Board for questions and discussion.
